I can’t believe my precious baby boy is already four months
old!
These boots are so precious! I think they are so adorable and they are almost too small, so I had to make sure I got a picture of them. |
Jude is becoming so interactive, especially with me and
Josiah. He is starting to play games
with us, if he is in the mood. He loves
playing with toys now that he can grab on to them and direct them toward his
mouth, but staring at his hands or sucking on two fingers are probably still
his favorites.
Jude is such a toggle-switch of a little boy! One minute he can be laughing and squealing
and the next have a pouty lip big enough for a whole flock of birds. This certainly does make things interesting. I do love to see him laugh and smile though,
that definitely makes up for his frustrating moments. When he smiles his whole body smiles, he
becomes the shape of a coma, no joke! I
can’t help but smile along with him!
Jude’s first Easter was so much fun, we were able to enjoy
the day with family and friends. One of
the best parts was getting him all dressed for church in his little outfit with
the button up shirt and little vest.
There is nothing cuter than little boy (or girl) dress up clothes!

I love to watch Jude learn, he is one of those kids who you
can tell is trying to figure things out.
He becomes very serious and observant; you can almost see all the pieces
coming together in that little brain of his (this is why there are still no
pictures of him really smiling, every time the camera comes out he gets serious
as he is trying to figure it all out).
The closest I've gotten to a picture of Jude smiling |
He hit a couple big milestones this month: rolling over and
sleeping through the night. Considering
how much Jude hates tummy time I’m actually surprised he didn't roll over
sooner, so he could avoid it J. He still can’t roll over on a regular basis
but he has done it several times. As for
sleeping through the night we have made huge progress! Jude has been sleeping at least six hours
before his first feeding (six hours is actually technically considered sleeping
through the night for an infant), but now he is regularly doing about 10 hours
and even went the WHOLE night several times! Yay for Mom getting a good night’s
sleep! Now if we could just get him to
take a couple naps J.
Happy 4 month birthday precious boy! You are a wonderful gift from God that we are
so thankful for everyday!
